Marketing Communications Specialist

Description

This position helps develop and execute marketing and promotional programs that support community and business relationship building, improve public perceptions of Tulsa Transit, as well as build ridership and community support for public transportation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or closely related field and at least two years of similar experience. (At least three years of marketing experience may be substituted for formal education.)
  • Must have social media marketing skills.
  • Must know graphic design software such as Photoshop or equivalent.
  • Must have demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in person, on the telephone, and in group settings.
  • Must have excellent grammar, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, creative, work without supervision, and have the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Being bilingual is a plus.

(Multiple) Armed Security Officers – $17.60/hr

Description

Actively monitors downtown station and security camera system to ensure the safety of customers and employees during hours of operation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in work-related area. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of advanced education.
  • Armed Security Guard license required.
  • CLEET Certification required.
  • Oklahoma driver’s license, with a good driving record required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Working knowledge of local, state, and federal security regulations is required.
  • Experience in the field of security is preferred.
  • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required.

(Full & Part-time) Bus Operator – $18.32/hr

Requirements

  • Paid training provided for Non-CDL Drivers – or –
  • OK CDL driver’s license with passenger endorsement

 Mechanic (pay varies based on skill level)

Description

Inspects, repairs, and services all MTTA vehicular equipment. Our professional mechanics have the opportunity to work on state of the art CNG buses in a high-tech maintenance facility.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Oklahoma CDL A or B with Passenger endorsement
  • CNG certification (or must obtain within 6 months)
  • No moving violations within the last 3 years
  • No DUI/DWI convictions
  • Forklift license preferred
  • Pass DOT physical / drug screen
  • Must be available evenings and weekends
