Reduced Fare Program

Reduced Fares for Seniors and Persons with Disabilities

Citizens, age 62 or older, and persons with disabilities are eligible for Tulsa Transit's Reduced Fare Program. A special photo ID card, issued through the program, permits holders to use the city bus system at half price.

Photo IDs are made only at Denver Ave. Station, 319 S. Denver, when the customer information booth is open:  Monday-Friday:  7 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. New customer IDs cost $1 or $5 for a replacement ID.

When applying for a senior ID, proof of age is required. A driver's license, birth certificate or a Medicare card is acceptable. This process must be completed in person. (Note: A Medicare card will be accepted in place of a Reduced Fare Card for half-price fares.)

Persons with disabilities can call 582-2100 and request an application or download and print the application here. A physician will be required to complete the application. After the application is completed, mail the application to Tulsa Transit for review. A Reduced Fare card will be mailed to you. You will then need to take the card to Denver Ave. Station to get your photo put on the ID for it to be valid. Other vendors who make photo IDs could also assist you with getting a photo put on the ID.
