Tulsa Transit is a public trust of the City of Tulsa with an oversight board of trustees appointed by the Mayor.
Local Bus Service
Tulsa Transit operates the local bus service in Tulsa, Jenks, Broken Arrow and Sand Springs providing approximately 8,500 passenger trips a day. The bus service runs from 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. There is no service on Sundays. Tulsa Transit offers limited late-night service on weekdays, which operates until 12:00 midnight. All local routes are wheelchair accessible.
Bus Fares
Regular Cash Fare: $1.25; Express Routes: $1.50; Transfer: Free. Anyone who is 75 or older rides free with their Super Senior photo ID. Fare discounts are available for seniors age 62 to 74 years old and passengers with disabilities. Reduced fares require an application to be completed and a photo ID provided by Tulsa Transit. Discount ticket books and unlimited ride monthly passes are available at Tulsa Transit bus stations and Tulsa area QuikTrip stores.
Lift Program/ADA Service
Tulsa residents with disabilities who are unable to ride a regular fixed-route bus may apply for the Tulsa Transit Lift Program that provides curb-to-curb service with taxicabs or lift-equipped minibuses. Recorded information is available 24 hours by calling 748-5523. The Lift fare is $2.00 each way.
