Tulsa Transit Facts

The mission of Tulsa Transit is to be the Premiere Transportation Provider, committed to Safe, Professional, Efficient, Reliable, Accessible, Quality Service.

Tulsa Transit is a public trust of the City of Tulsa with an oversight board of trustees appointed by the Mayor. 

Local Bus Service

Tulsa Transit operates the local bus service in Tulsa, Jenks, Broken Arrow and Sand Springs providing approximately 10,000 passenger trips a day. The bus service runs from 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.  There is no service on Sundays. Tulsa Transit offers limited late-night service on weekdays and Saturdays, which operates until 12:00 midnight. All local routes are wheelchair accessible.

Regular Cash Fare (U2 Pass)     $1.50

Express Route Fare              $1.75

Super Senior (over75)            Free

Fare discounts are available for seniors age 62 to 74 years old, and passengers with disabilities.
Reduced fares require an application to be completed and a photo ID provided by Tulsa Transit. 
Discount ticket books, and unlimited ride monthly passes, are available at Tulsa Transit bus stations and Tulsa area QuikTrip stores.

 

Lift Program/ADA Service

Tulsa residents with disabilities who are unable to ride a regular fixed-route bus may apply for the Tulsa Transit Lift Program that provides door- to-door service with low -floor mini-buses. Recorded information is available 24 hours by calling 918-748-5523. The Lift fare is $3.00 each way.
